My story, my life : 2013 (1434/1535H)

Syukur Alhamdulillah...

Kesyukuran berpanjangan dipanjatkan terhadap Allah s.w.t di atas nikmatnya. I must say.. at this point.. at the age of 33y.o.... I felt that my life is complete.

I have achieved the most in this year.. 2013..

Or should I say.. the best year in my life? maybe..

Alhamdulillah... Alhamdulillah..

Let me list down my achievement this year.. (which I've never thought I would get it before..ever)

Okay,.. now lets go back to Jan 2013.. at that point of time.. I remember I've drafted what I want to achieve before I turned 40..

July 2013.. my E14 reached 3 year.. so, I hope that I'll get my E15 soon. InsyaaAllah

Then I wanted to perform my Hajj.. but since I've been denied or denying since 2005 through 2012, so I've decided to book for Umrah..

Also I was thinking of doing my Masters this year.. targeted finish by 2016.. then continuing my PhD maybe in 2017 so that I can finish before I turned 40,.. which will be in 2020

Okay, what next? hrmm.. a-hah.. my long due Professional Engineer (P.Eng) application.. which I should have done many years ago.. I was registered in 2003 and I could have applied in 2006.. But I had mis-organise the priority in my life.. so lost all the years.. But, I know.. Allah's plan are the best!

I am good with children. I am so blessed with 3 gorgeous kids already, so maybe I can plan to rest for a little while.. I think :)

But then guess what??!!...... Allah is sooo great that HE actually wanted to give me ALL of the above (almost) at once!!

Maybe it started somewhere in January (also),.. or February.. I was teaching in ILSAS when one of the participant ask me whether I've done my PhD. I said.. how can I do my PhD when I don't even have masters yet.. then he told me about MyBrain 15 is offering some scholarship for some special PhD program.. I went back and googled.. I did ask around,..like Nurul TNBR and Nana TNBR about their continuing study. I finally found UPM, UM and UTM providing this PhD Industry program. So I applied..

It took me quite sometime for me to apply as it need zillions of document.. but I managed to get thru..

In March (maybe), I've got this email from UPM stating that my PhD application has been accepted.. alhamdulilah.. Alhamdulillah...

In that month also I successfully went for my PE interview with IEM.. and I PASSED!!! Alhamdulillah

In the same month I went to ILSAS for a course.. maybe my JEK course.. around 11am, I've got a call from TH Kelana Jaya.. he told me that my name is listed for Hajj this year! MASHAALLAH!

This is the greatest gift I could have ever imagined Allah could give to His servant.. TERIMA KASIH ALLAH...takkan kulupakan selama-lamanya Ya Allah.. I remember my knee loses it's strength and I almost.. (or maybe I had!) CRIED!!!

Imagine in the same day I've got 3 great news -

I. Passed my PE exam - Which means Ir.
II. Got offer for Hajj - Which means Hjh.
III. Approved application for PhD - Which means Dr. (soooon)

Oh wow!!... Allah show me that He can give everything in one go just like that.. nothing is complicated to Him.. and we, human... just need to pray.. and pray.. and pray..

and now I must say.. on Dec 9, 2013.... I have finally got my BEM confirmation for PE (thus Ir.) on October 2013.. and I've successfully perform my Hajj on Oct 2013 (thus Hjh.)..

I am now in my 1st semester for my PhD. May Allah gives me help throughout my entire journey. Aminn Ya Rabb..

It's true I still have more to achieve in my life but as of today, I feel complete! Alhamdulillah..

The completeness is nothing else but due to the completion of the Fifth Pillar of ISLAM - performing HAJJ.. May Allah grant us Hajj Mabrur... amin ya rabbal alaminn

Balik Haji

 

Alhamdulillah,.

181113 - Masuk hari ni dah hampir 2 minggu kami telah selamat pulang dari mengerjakan Haji 1434H selama 46 hari (21 Sep till 6 Nov 2013). Alhamdulillah

TQ mok ayah tolong jaga Yana (1y8m) dan Aril (4y8m) dan Ma Abah tolong jaga kakak (7y).

Masa kami tiba di Airport PC, Yana senyap je. Aril pun sama. sipu2 malu.
Bila sampai rumah Aril pegang mama. Dia Tanya, "betul ke ni mama Aril ni?"

Yana pulak the next morning baru bising. Rupanya dah banyak vocab dia. Macam2 dia tau cakap.. panas, tv, timmy time, tayo (the little bus), bird, fish, cat, etc.

Aril pun banyak makan nasi macam Yana.

Syasya pulak excel si SK Alor Lintah. Terbaik 6 subjek dan tempat pertama keseluruhan darjah 1. Siap hadir majlis anugerah lagi. Alhamdulillah

TQ Allah jagakan keluarga kami sepanjang kami di rumahmu.

This time of course misi pencarian Longchamp as usual. beli about 15 pcs of longchamp for friends yg kirim... and got 1 for myself. My first RM1k++ handbag. heheh

Mangsa ragut

Something bad happened to me. I was walking from Pasar Seni LRT going towards 2 sentral office. I was using my phone then suddenly 2 snatch thief, on a motorbike came from my back and took away my phone. I stumbled and injured both my knees. yelled for help but nobody cares. well, this is KL.

Alhamdulillah nothing more serious than that and I still got my handbag with me. syukurr

There are a lot of lesson learns for me from this situation. Allah is trying to "warn" me on something so I have to accept this wake -up call. Be more alert next time and slow down a bit.

It's a hard lesson but I pray that Allah will always "lindungi kami sekeluarga"

Hari ni mood nak reward myself. Dah jual saham berkodi kodi takkan tak dapat ape2 utk diri sendiri kan.. heheheh..

Since I couldnt find my tissot watch (abg kata syazeril main), I bought myself a swatch watch. Tak la mahal mana pun.. just RM195.. but it's good to be classic again..

Its the day when I deactivated my FB account. The pressure is so high. I have to go away with all these crap until the fire has gone out. Stop all social networking and focus on my task. I don't need an additional stress right now.

Better keep quiet now and just do my things. Just me and Allah.

If I die today I hope everyone will forgive for what I have said or done. I am a normal human being.

Got a not-so-nice-news yesterday.
My memo to Japan is rejected. ZulY wrote GM return sebab 500kV NGK insulator string is meant for flybus. So he is sending substation rep. Ish ish ish.. mana blajar pun tatau ini org.

This guy without any doubt will try to sekat me from going anywhere.  It's ok. I truly believe that rezeki Allah sangat luas. Cuma ku harus kekal bersabar. Yakin Dia akan memberikan yang lebih baik dan sememangnya ada hikmah disebalik setiap kejadian.

Aku bernekad akan tamatkan pHd dalam masa 2 tahun dan buktikan padanya who I am!

Today I went to TH HQ bg abang. Submit surat terima haji terpilih. Seronok tak terkata perasaan ni Allah saja yg tau. Submit juga borang pengesahan mahram..letak nama abang. Ya Allah. Semoga abang turut dpt jemputan mu ya Allah.

Lepas tu register jugak utk anak2. Guess what... diorang dpt tahun 2060!!!

Fuh. Harapnya tak la selewat tu diorang dpt. Huhuuu..

Pagi2 sabtu abang dh ajak keluar. Nak jalan2 katanya. Bebudak pun semua bgn dan mandi awal hari ni. Huhuu..

Konon plan nk ke ipoh. Tetiba half way abg tukar fikiran. Nak ke Restoran Lembah Bernam. Makan eksotik. Jauh jugak la..area2 Tg Karang Selangor. Siap boleh jama qasar lg. Ade la dlm 180km kot 1 way.

Sedap gak la. Makam rabbit.udang galah.landak. bil rm80. Heheheh... best2.

Pastu balik singgah U8. Tengok wayang cerita GI Joe. Pastu malam dinner kt restoran cina muslim kt shah alam. Soft shell crab ng udang butter g sedap gilerr.

Banyak good news lately after series of bad news several weeks ago.

Beberapa minggu lepas bnyk kejadian dlm hidup kami. Abg terjatuh lubang. Pastu kena langgar ng india kt simpang. Habis pecah cover set motor skuter. Kos dlm RM1k. Tp si india tu xmau bayar pulak. Then emergency brake kelisa, terantuk kepala kakak sampai pecah cermin depan kelisa.

21 hingga 31 mac 2013 kitorang semua ke Sydney. Stay rumah william/ai ling and I was busy updating my www.ninietraveller.blogspot.com Tu yg xmenyempat update blog jiwang nieh.

So upon coming back fr sydney, I sms Ir Zaini. He said that he will submit the interview report to IEM within that week. On his side xde problem. Wow. Syukur alhamdulillah. Semoga Allah mudahkan aku dpt kelulusan IEM dan BEM utk Ir. Yg lama diidamkan. Aminn

Next I whatsapp Dr Zainal UPM. He 5old me another good news. Dia dh approve my research proposal for my D Eng. Syukur ya Allah.

And owh.. our new car, 2009 recon odyssey is ready to pick up. Kitorang pegi amik hari khamis. Abang beli kereta tu for RM160k. Replacing our 6y.o vios. Huhuu. Syukur lagi.

Seminggu lepas balik sydney, i attended kusus AKTA 447 sbg ganti kelas yg aku ponteng masa g sydney. Join geng2 JEK3. it was great. Minggu ni yg dpt bnyk great news..

Kalau tak silap hari selasa pagi2 dpt email dr UPM. Permohonanku utk Doctor of Engineering dh approved. Registration is 26 Aug until 8 Sept 2013. Phew... syukurrr

Oh..did I mentioned.. earlier b4 I went to sydney, Aidil VP ofc called ckp memo to INMR conference di Vancouver is APPROVED! Syukur lagii.. and the date is from 6 - 15 Sept 2013..

Now here comes best of the best.. hari selasa or rabu..got call fr TH Kelana Jaya. The guy told me that I was terpilih utk memunaikan Haji tahun ni. Ma sha Allah...  lembik rasa lutut ni. Terlalu gembira.

Ya Allah ya tuhanku. Terlalu banyak nikmat mu ya Allah. Semoga aku tidak dilupakan dari sifat bersyukur. Aku bersyukur padamu ya Allah. Alhamdulillah... terima kasih Allah

I was in ILSAS having a course when I've got this call from TH Kelana Jaya.
He informed me that I was selected for Hajj 1434H\

Great news

I've received 3 great news today on my life and carrier. . Yet I cant hold my tears during lunch.. in a restaurant.. in front of people...

May Allah give strength to my heart..

So what are the great news??
1) Was informed by my interviewer, Ir Zaini that I've passed my PE exam
2) Got email from UPM that my PhD application was approved
3) Loan approved for our new car - Toyota Odyssey

Alhamdulillah


But the tear was the tear of sadness.. when I read a status on FB.. about someone hurt my mom & dad's feeling...

P Eng interview

Syukur alhamdulillah. . After 11 years serving the company I finally went for the P Eng interview. My first interviewer was Ir Zaini Che Awang.. ore kelate kito. Interestingly he set the interview at hus house in Jalan Paladium Tiga 7/22C in Shah Alam. This will be my second time  going to his house. I went before to submit my technical and experience report.

9am..I went out from house. Better be early than late right. As predicted, the traffic wasnt so smooth like we want. So I arrived his house at 1030am.. after having breakfast at KFC nearby.

He didnt see me at first until he came out to open the gate. When he saw me, hr invited me to come in. The wife, kak Shima has already prepared some tea and karipap.. very nice people indeed.

The 2nd interviewer, Ir Kamarudin arrived just before 11am. He said he is rushing as his daughter is at the hospital. So we had a chat while having tea. Ir Kamarudin was with TNB before.. and guess what.. Dato Azman CEO was his junior in UK!!

We then continue with the interview session. They asked my experience and of course I talk mostly about lightning. My most recent KKRI-GMSG study. It last only for 30 mins. Syukur alhamdulillah Ir Kamarudin just sign because he said he hv no issue with me. He was suprised that I've already 11 yrs with TNB. maybe he thought only 4 to 5 yrs. Maybe I look younger. Hehe

Then Ir Kamarudin left us.. leaving me having to answer the 2 essays. For part B, I answered no. 12 which is rasuah - take no action or whistle blow. Syukur ya Allah..

During answering, his daughter, Dr Solehah brought watermelon juice. Very nice people in that house. Then after finishing part A, me and solehah went out for lunch at A&W.

At 230pm, after zohor prayer I continued with Essat part A. It's about being a lead engimeer for 132kV lightning fault investigation. I finished at 430pm.

Went back with hopes as the result will only come out in two weeks. Moga Allab bantu.. amin

PhD oh PhD

Ya Allah. I dont know what makes me suddenly so eager to further my studies. Maybe because I felt day after day I'm being bullied by my own bosses, coleague and people around me.

It hurts when a contractor ask u wether u r replacing your sub ordinates position. WTH?! U knew me for 10 yrs and today u asked me wether I am doing/replacing someone's job/position who was actually my subordinate for years! But she never did report to me anyway..

Well actually it started few weeks ago when I saw more and more colleague graduates from Masters etc. And yet I'm helping them, giving them info to complete their study. And me?.. Left behind with a Bachelor Degree..

So I think this has to be the stop. I need to upgrade myself. I was asking friends about Masters programs from UPM, Uniten and UM....until today when I was teaching at ILSAS, a student told me about this program. O dear, I qualified..

May Allah open the door and give me ease to go thru this program.. Aminnn

KKRI-GMSG site visit

As early as 8am..I went to KKRI with new Lines Engineer Nik A Nazirul. Plan to visit as many tower. Unfortunately after 3rd tower, megger set (FLUKE) putus. Then Hilux pulak rosak - putus belt kipas. More than 1 hr baiki hilux. Nasib baik foremen Hj Pa tu pomen. Huhuu

Syasya called asking me to come and pick her up. Apik is going back to Melaka today. Dia takut dia boring sebab esok Aisyah sekolah. Arrived besut at 2pm. Herney is about to leave to Melaka. It is raining heavily. Syasya insisted to come with me to KB.
Mean while. Abg arrived Abu Dhabi Airport and waiting to leave to Istanbul. Hope everything is well.

Only a week before she turned 1.. Syaza got her first step with Ikram and Ihsan.. The uncles really supported her to walk. Came to my suprise she actually had her first few steps at 151B. Alhamdulillah.

Day 2 of balik kg. Kul 4pm we left fr Besut straight to Hosp Besar KB tengok tok ayah yg still koma. His breathing was really bad due to kahak. We left hospital at 6pm

830pm hantar abg naik bas Mutiara di Tmn Bendahara. Ya Allah lindungi suamiku di atas perjalannya. Permudahkan segala urusan kami ya Allah. Aminnn

Esok malam abg akan bertolak ke Istanbul. My always-top-of-the-wishlist. Insy one day akan sampai ke sana. Aminn..

Btw. Syasya tinggal kt Besut. Dia nak stay ng apik and alin and aisyah. Malam dpt msg kakak demam sbb main kolam bnyk sgt. Ya Allah lindungi anak2ku..

Friday after work.. As usual we picked up syasya fr school. Went back.. Did laundry.. Pack pack and vroom..

We left at 10pm.. Traffic was really bad. Took 2 hrs to reach karak tol. I took over at 1am until 3am. We stop for nasi goreng at cheneh.

4am abg stop. .zzZzzzZ... Woke him up at 6am.. Stop for breakfast at 8am permaisuri..

He was soo excited upon coming back from school. I asked him.. "Aril ada homework tak hari ni?".. He didnt response..then he said excitedly.. "mama mama. .ayil ade cice yumah"

Never thought that one day.. 11 yrs later i'll be here again.. 5 of us!!
I started here. March 2002.. And now february 2013 i came back with a husband a 3 gorgeous child.
Alhamdulillah. Thank you Allah

After such a long long time.. I finally booked PD Kondo and succesful for 3d2n stay from 1 to 3 Feb 2013. The kids are extremely happy. We went off to PD on Friday night, had to pick up Syasya from school at 630pm, then went back..left at 830pm. We arrived PD at 10pm. Checked in and sleep. Gets ready for the next day.

On Saturday, kids woke up early. After breakfast at a nearby warung, we went straight to the swimming pool. They had fun. Then had a rest until 5pm. Abah n Aril sleep all the. Syasya keep on asking every single minute when she can go to pantai.

At 5pm, we went to Teluk Kemang. Kids play with the sand until 7pm. Then abah n syasya play the tricycle for RM5/5 rounds. Aril had a Pony ride at RM5, twice!. Syasya also had a pony ride later. All cost RM25.

Had a good dinner at Nasreen Seafood - as usual. We had ikan kembung 3 rasa, kerabu mangga, tom yam campur, daging goreng kunyit and udang goreng biasa.. All at only RM31!!

The next day, kids woke up early again to go to swimming pool. They cant wait to try out their water pistol which abah bought for RM10 each. They al so had fun at the beach for a while. Mama went up early as baby was too cold and tired.

Upon checking out, the house keeping said that 2 tea spoons were missing. I had to pay RM10 for the lost. It was my mistake that I did not check the given list upon check in. Lesson learnt to me. The total bill was RM106. RM6 for the government tax!!

On our way back home, we had lunch at Restoran Nelayan Seremban. Had perut masak lemak, siput sedut and petai jeruk. Also RM30..

Syasya and KAFA

Alahamdulillah.. Week 2 of school, Syasya is now ok with KAFA. I manage to leave her in front of school without having to send her in the class. She walked herself to canteen because it is too early and dark. Later she walk to her class. Thats what she told me. She also went to kelas mengaji..finally..

Yesterday also she bought pencil n book from kedai sekolah. She said it is a goft to Nabi Muhd sbb Ustazah kata esok harijadi dia.

Lyya called at noon saying that baby is having fever. I asked her to bring Yana to clinic but she cant as she is having meeting.. Not until 3pm..

Trying to call Abg to ask wether he can send me back. He didnt pick up the phone. He called me back at 2pm and he is not well as well. So went back. Brought both baby and Aril to Klinik Mefi Nur.

Aril n Abah kena Nebuliser.. Baby just get a fever and cough medicine. At 630pm..i went to school to pick up syasya. Then brought aril to clinic again.. There! Second neb!!

At night all 3 didnt sleep well.. Abah, and aril with heavy weezing.. Baby uncomfy..

Woke up and i decided to take half day again. Didnt feel good leaving all my love behind.

Abah went to clinic again. Both of them got neb. Aril 3rd time!!!

Luckily syaza is better. Alhamdulillah.

Its my 2nd sabah trip under ILSAS to KK. Still, love it. Arrived on monday, 5pm after an hour of flight delay due to 'missing pilot'!!

Upon arriving i went to Filipino market.. Get my sotong bakar at RM10/7 ekor. Also bought kopi Tenom and mangga..

Then k CJ came to pick me up. Went to Suria Sabah for dinner and movie - The Tower!

2day.. Finished class at 4pm and went straight to pasar again. Get my sotong again.. Then jalan2 around. Balik hotel n rest.

Esok flight at 845am.. Shall leave by 745am..

Day 6 and syasya still crying at KAFA. I went to see guru kelas and guru besar, ask them to change her into kelas Seri.. So she is now in 1 Ibn Abbas instead of Ibn Mas ud.

Hope it will get better.

2013 trip - SYDNEY

Alhamdulillah yesterday I bought Airasia flight for 2 adult 2 child 1 infant... Everything cost RM5.6k.. Include return tix, 1 luggage, 2 meals..

Travelling is during school holiday.

Syasya schooling

It has been 4 days. 5 th day of school syasya still crying. Xmau pegi KAFA. she said it is boring and too noisy. Kakak pening..

So today I gave her a break. Ponteng sekolah KAFA. Just go to SK belah petang. Siap nak bawak iPad pegi CIC.

Ya Allah permudahkan urusan mendidik anak anakku. Semoga Syasya diberi kekuatan utk terus hadir ke sekolah.

stressful..(as usual)

gorsh.. my stress level has gone mad. couldnt believe my temperature went up so high this morning. syasya was crying as usual, refusing to go to sekolah agama.. and i lost my patience,, scolding her like mad.,ma sha Allah... then i regret it..!

what i did was not right,, remember what Hj K told,, whenever your kid did something wrong, just hug her,,.do nothing.. just HUG!

2012 31 dec didnnot end well. Had a sour fight but syukur it did not spread. As usual i am the one who have to give way.

About kids all are coughing. Syasya down with fever. Aril baru baik fever. Katanya sakit kaki. Syasya pun sama, sakit kaki.. Then sakit tangan. Mcm sendi. Hopefully nothing serious.
